TODAY IS THE DAY!!! It’s finally here. MEANT TO BE is release upon the world. Go forth, my sweet little book. Go forth and please the readers.
Seriously. I can’t believe the day is finally here. The reviews have been popping up on Goodreads and they are amazing. I could not ask for more. My readers (what few there are) are awesome. I want to hug them and send them all cookies. Or brownies. Or a copy of book 2, but that would be a no no.
So Beth and Joe and their the real hero of this story – Dozer – have hit the streets. Thank you to all my friends, writers, readers, and both, who have supported me for so long. The nudges and pokes and prods and occasional kicks on the backside kept me going and got me here. And boy is the view pretty.
If you’re visiting for the first time and thinking, “Why is this woman talking to me like I know her?” have no fear. I’m just that friendly. But to bring you up to speed a bit, here the blurb from my debut Contemporary Romance MEANT TO BE.
Sometimes the next best thing is what you’ve been looking for all along…
Beth Chandler has spent her whole life pleasing others. She went to law school to make her grandparents happy. She agreed to marry her workaholic boyfriend, Lucas, to make him happy. And, despite her fear of boats, she took a ferry to see Lucas’s parents just to make them happy.
While suffering through a panic attack on the ferry, Beth meets a tall, sexy stranger who talks her down from her fear—and makes her heart flutter in the process. Soon, she has a new reason to panic: her gorgeous, blue-eyed rescuer is Lucas’s brother, Joe.
But could she ever leave her fiancé for his own brother…even if Lucas is more focused on making partner than on making their relationship work…and even if Joe turns out to be everything she never knew she wanted?
And this is what readers on Goodreads are saying:
Jill says ~ “Not a clenching womb or a pair of dripping undies in sight….thankfully!” (This one so makes my day.)
BamaGal says ~ “I think Terri Osburn has a bright writing future ahead of her.” (Send this woman flowers!)
Jen says ~ “I’m seriously impressed with this debut novel. The author’s style reminds me of Jill Shalvis but not in a copycat kind of way.” (I’m happy to be compared to this amazing author in any way!)
Vikki says ~ “It was fantastic, with all of those yummy things I look for in a great book.” (I’ll take a yummy!)
Kim says ~ “Meant to Be is a very enjoyable read about two people who should be together but are willing to sacrifice themselves for someone else.” (They get me. They really get me.)
Duchess Nicole says ~ “Five big fat romantic, funny, sexy, Meant to Be Stars!!” (I’m having this put on a shirt.)
Is it any wonder I can’t stop smiling? Regardless of what happens after today, I’m a happy author and a happy person. Thank you, lovely readers, for loving my book. My book (and I) love you right back.
If you want to hear me testing out my old radio chops, tune in tonight at 8:30 (eastern) to Canned Laughter and Coffee with Renee Bernard. I’ll be her guest. There’s no script and no pre-planning. We’ll be off the cuff and you never know what might happen.
